熱鍋不要熱過頭
忍不住想要分享一下
昨天我在煮飯時~
因為太急~所以用最大的火熱鍋~順便在熱鍋時洗菜
不過等菜洗完~也忘了到底熱了多久的鍋
準備開始要煮~倒了一點沙拉油到鍋子裡
油馬上開始冒煙(我想應該是在蒸發的狀態)~不到一秒鐘
"咻~" 鍋子開始冒出熊熊的大火.......
怎麼辦.....想了一秒
拿到水槽準備要用水救火~
想一想不對~是油在燒~可能用水滅不了
於是我想到Combustion的化學式裡有氧氣
所以我想也不想地就把鍋蓋蓋上~
不曉得過了多久~我才慢慢地把蓋子打開~
灰色濃濃的煙慢慢地冒出來.........
呼~~第一次煮飯煮到起火~!
看來我的功力和經驗越來越深厚了!!
ps:Combustion 的化學式是鬼扯的啦~我可沒那麼Nerd, 而且我也不是學化學的!!

Can't go back to Taiwan to see my family......darn!

UBC Heavy Lift Test Flight
Feb. 17 去了 Pitt Meadows的 Local Airport
去試飛我們 student team做的飛機
試飛還蠻成功的!! 不過最後一趟因為引擎在空中熄火
還好我們的 Pilot很厲害，滑行迫降後衝出跑道~ 飛機只有一點差傷
引擎熄火後來研判可能是因為漏油~然後油壓不足~引擎吃不到油
帶帽子的那位是我們前任飛行員
開這種模型飛機也是要有職照的
(最右邊第二位是我們現任飛行員)
這是在測試飛機平衡
一人抬一邊飛機機翼，前後要完全平衡~不然飛不起來
大家在檢查飛機
現任飛行員在替飛機加油

With so many things going on in my life, I managed my time by prioritizing tasks and using the time efficiently. With this strategy, I have maintained good grades in the school. Moreover, I have developed strong team work and interpersonal skills by participating in Heavy Lift team. In this team, I studied airplane structures and designs, and performed a series of strength tests on airplane structures. Through the testing process, I have acquired a lot of analysis skills and troubleshooting skills. With these qualifications, I would like to contribute my skills to your company.
Moreover, I am very familiar with AutoCAD. During my last intern at Hom Tech Precise Co., I was a design assistant creating design drawings for machine components on AutoCAD. My works included drawing finger chucks components for CNC machines and modified design drawing dimensions. With good attention to details, I effectively created accurate and clear design drawings which made machine operators’ work easier. Also, I have experience in using Unigraphics. While I was doing the magnetic levitation project in one of my courses, I used Unigraphics to create 3D drawings for a coil housing with a solenoid and a base for the levitation device. With these computer drafting skills, I would like to apply my experience to your company.

為什麼要補習?
國中時班上有一半的人都有在上補習班
早上七點半到校一直到下午五點下課~
一下課直接到補習班報到~
晚餐吃補習班統一訂的便當
直到晚上九點才能回家~
從下午五點到九點在補習班裡都做些什麼呢?
上課~然後考試~檢討考卷~ 四個小時加上休息吃飯!時間很快就過了
然後呢?~九點回到家!!還有心情讀書嗎? 不~是還有體力讀書嗎?
回到家弄一弄也九點半十點了! 隔天一大早七點還要起來~就算十一點睡
那寫學校功課的時間也只剩一個小時(十點到十一點)!!
寫得完嗎?~當然寫不完囉~功課都寫不完了怎麼還會有時間讀書?
我所謂的讀書是指瞭解課本裡東西~! 不是只有寫功課!!
(ps:我發現我國中時根本沒在讀書....都是在寫功課.......只把功課趕出來~該背的背一背~該寫的寫完~)
學校每天的功課就很多了!而且幾乎每天都有小考~
這樣有時間讀書嗎?就連寫功課的時間都沒了~
連學校的功課都交不出來~還應該補習嗎?
為什麼要補習?為什麼在台灣讀書要補習!?
在台灣聽過國小補習~國中補習~高中補習~ 不過我沒聽說過大學生補習
為什麼大學生就不用補習呢?~這真的蠻怪的!
從小補到大~然後進大學後好像就突然開竅了!不用補了?
問題出在哪呢? 為什麼要補習?
是因為在學校老師教的東西都聽不懂? 一個老師要帶太多的學生
沒有辦法照顧到每位學生?
還是說因為大家都在補~所以沒補的話就會輸別人?
問題是出在哪?
改來改去好像越來越糟? 一點進步也沒看到!!
要怎麼辦?下一步要改什麼?
乾脆進口教育好了!!
也不用辦教育了~ 直接花錢把所有的小孩送出國讀書! 進口教育
拼經濟拼經濟!!大家都在喊!! 是阿~
經濟拼好一點~大家有錢點~然後就不用再辦教育了~直接進口!!
問題出在哪?
看不到問題~ 看不到未來!!

Wednesday: Ballroom Dance = 1.5 hr
Saturday: Student team = 2hrs
Sunday: Work = 2hrs
2 Labs and 1 computer lab = 9 hrs average
1 Problem set = 6 hrs average
An exam every Thursday!!!
I am busy......
But, I am doing okay with this crazy schedule!!

"欠腳"
台語的 "欠腳" 是形容一個人很能幹
但不曉得能不能用在男生身上~!
我從來沒聽過別人形容一個男生 "欠腳"~
"欠腳" 這個詞我以後都不能再用了~
因為某個人對它很敏感~!
這應該是要叫 "欠腳"過敏症?

近況
1. 今天(Jun. 8/06)一早起來發現天空烏雲密佈
烙了一句話：搞屁阿~!
昨天天氣還蠻好的~今天怎麼差這麼多!
2. 開始考慮要不要轉系到 Forestry
Forestry Centre 離我宿舍只要步行三十秒...
已經連續泡在Forestry Centre for three days....
3. 下星期 Final....所有功課星期一死線
那還好...
Research paper proposal 交不出來....
看來可能會遲兩天.... [5% + 5% = 10 %]? or is it [5% + 5% = 9.75%](ps.1)? .25% who cares....
4. 想好天氣時出去玩~想看一直沒有看的MI3........
but damn it.... I ain't got no time!.... (ps.2)
5. 好久沒和好多人聯絡了....不知道他們過得好嗎?
ps.1: how did I get 9.75%? Let's say the assignment is late for two days, 5% per day, and the prof. gives me 100 on the assignment! However, it's late for two days, so the prof. mutiply 100 by 95% (100 x 95% = 95), and 95 multiply 95% again. The final grade is equal 90.25, so the total penalty for the late assignment is 9.75% which is not likely to be the way that my prof doee the penalty calculation.
ps.2: I learned this from a paper which was assigned by my prof.

My Sims story~!
之前聽 Catherine 講的遊戲 The Sims
聽了之後就很想很想玩~用了四天的時間終於把它載下來了
我一開始是選兩個姊妹~因為她們都穿得超辣的
她們家樓上就有 Hot tub and a small bar~
遊戲一開始她們倆就穿著泳衣在屋頂上跳舞泡 Hot tub~
誰知道~好時光都過得特別快~
晚上的時候突然搶進了一個小偷
把她們家的Bar, hot tub, and 健身器材都通通偷走了
而妹妹(金髮的那位)看到小偷只會拼命叫~(我也不知道可以打電話叫警察~所以東西就這樣都被偷走了....)
後來妹妹崩潰了~一天到晚就跑到家旁邊的馬路上乞討(為了賺回她的 Hot tub)~
Wut a blond chick.......
Anyways~
後來我又讓妹妹邀請她暗戀的對象(Ben)來家裡開派對
很快的妹妹和她的暗戀對象玩起親親~
靠我玩 game 高超的技巧~Ben很快就對妹妹死心踏地了
於是妹妹就邀請他來家裡一起住(也就是同居)
住進來後因為床不夠~Ben當然和妹妹一起睡囉
後來他們兩個就在床上 WooHoo起來了
Ben住進來我發現我可以開始控制他(也可以知道他在想什麼)~
誰知道我這時才發現 Ben 是個花花公子~
同時間~他有其他三個暗戀對象(其中一個還包括姐姐...)
然後最扯的是~他的人生目標是和三個不同的女生 WooHoo.....
為了完成他的人生目標~我先讓他和姐姐Woohoo, 然後又邀請另一個女生來一起住
所以現在是一個男的和三個女生住在同個屋簷下
後來Ben終於和那三個女生WooHoo過了....
誰知道他是個貪心的混蛋~他達成他的人生目標後又有新的目標
新目標竟是.... :再和五個女生Woohoo........(Wut a pig)
更扯的是我發現他其他的人生目標有一項是 : Public WooHoo...........
我懶得再讓他和另外其他五個女生亂搞~
所以我想說那試試看 Public WooHoo 好了
於是我讓他帶著他現任的新歡到一間賣衣服的店
然後在換衣間裡 WooHoo, which is the definition of Public WooHoo in the game.
達成這個目標後....Ben果真是個豬
他之前 Public WooHoo 竟然變成要和另外三個女生 Public WooHoo..............
這個Game 真的是玩不完............
穿灰色衣服的那就是妹妹，然後下方那個男的就是Ben
妹妹因為出去玩得太累了~本來要走去房間睡覺的

注意喔~她是站著睡喔!!
後面另一個金髮女生是來家裡玩的朋友~被妹妹擋住門回不了家....

她也是太累了~倒在廚房地板就睡著了
Ben 也很累想回房睡覺~不過他被他的新歡擋住路回不了房間

好舒服

當出是想說它有送 Movie ticket discount coupon($3 off) 才去買來吃的
昨天想說最近會有很多好看的電影要上映
所以買菜時又買了一盒
不過發現它送的 coupon is only for concession tickets........

不過想想也對~其實 Pizza Pops targets 年齡本來就是小孩子
只有我這個笨蛋跑去和小孩子搶食物和免費 coupon..........
